I always purchase their shit.  but this comes out the day that I’m seeing them.  last time I saw them, Goblin came out two days before, and tyler got right up in my face on stage and I didnt know the words to tron cat because I just heard it for the first time and I felt like an asshole.  so fuck it.  I’m being a pirate this time.

BasedGod vs. David Banner

I haven’t posted or reblogged anything since… december? but I really wanted to write about this.

First of all, Greatest Story Ever Told is one of my favorite albums of all time.  I love David Banner as a producer, and that album was hot.  But really?  Your not on top of your game here Mr. Banner.  It’s been a few years since you’ve had a really big hit that you’ve rapped on, if you’re trying to stay relevant, don’t come out and diss a whole movement.  A lot can be said about White Girl Mob and Lil B, but they’re not saying anything about anyone. You’re hitting below the belt here. 

Oh word? Is it me or is this beat better sped up?  Anyone who’s listened past the “I’m Gay” album knows Lil B can rap well when he wants to (dead presidents….) and he went off on this, while maintaining his classic Lil B flow.  And it’s true.  Lil B is way more famous on the internet.  Doesn’t that matter more these days?

Lil B wins. End of story.
